Thoughts create feelings
What if what your feelings are coming from your thoughts in the moment? What if your feelings say more about what your mind is up to, than about your circumstances?
The way it looks to me, our feelings work as an inner GPS guiding us in the right direction. If you have an unpleasant feeling in your body, often in the stomach or chest area, that is a signal to stop taking your mind so seriously. Our feelings in the moment can be compared to a rumble strip along the side of the road. It is there to help keep you on the right track. A busy mind is always felt in our bodies as our mind and our body are two sides of the same coin. If you have a pleasant feeling in your body and you are feeling relaxed and at ease, it is likely that your thinking in the moment is more useful to you. Isn't that a brilliant system?
